Residential HVAC repair in Wellesley, MA, covers the full range of common system failures, including:

Heating systems that fail to reach set temperature or stop producing heat entirely.
Cooling systems that run continuously without reaching the thermostat setpoint.
Short cycling that causes premature equipment wear and inconsistent comfort.
Restricted airflow from blocked or deteriorating components.
Unusual sounds including banging, rattling, or persistent clicking at startup.

A professional HVAC installation contractor matches the right system to the specific home. Wellesley's residential properties vary considerably in age, layout, and existing infrastructure. Some are large colonials with central duct systems. Others are older homes with radiator heat and no existing ductwork at all. A proper installation begins with an accurate load calculation, not a guess based on square footage alone.

A licensed technician begins by assessing the home's layout, existing infrastructure, and comfort goals before equipment is selected based on load calculation, fuel type, and energy efficiency targets. Installation is completed by MA-licensed technicians with a confirmed two-hour arrival window, and the system is commissioned and tested before the technician closes out the job. A full walkthrough follows, and Advantage Plan maintenance options are reviewed to protect the new investment going forward.

New HVAC systems installed in 2025 may qualify for federal tax credits under current energy efficiency incentive programs. Flaherty can help Wellesley homeowners evaluate energy-efficient options during the estimate process. For homes without existing ductwork, ductless mini-split installation offers a highly efficient alternative that avoids invasive renovations while delivering zoned heating and cooling.
