What Is a Ductless Mini-Split System?

Smart Cooling Without Central Ductwork

Ductless mini-split systems use wall-mounted indoor units paired with an outdoor compressor to provide direct cooling (and even heating with some models) to individual rooms or zones. Installation is clean, simple, and fast—no invasive ductwork or major renovations required.

Key Benefits of Mini-Split Systems:

  • Zoned cooling for precise temperature control
  • Energy-efficient performance
  • Quieter than traditional AC units
  • Easy to retrofit in older homes
  • Wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted options
  • Some models provide both heating and cooling.
  • Lower operating costs than window units
